How did my friends Macaw died?

Two days ago a friend of mine had a Scarlet Macaw that died, the last owner before him told him that he was 7 years old the bird was in good shape and really healthy but he wasnt really that active anyways well the bird use to eat right and even talk to people really happy he was well two weeks ago in the night he died we are not really sure of what he looked like if he couldnt breath but then he looked like if he was chocking but then he looked like if he was super hot and need water and air so we took the cage outside to see if thats what he need it but he was still like that i know that he was not hot because he fulffe he feathers like to cool of then he try to speak cause we where try to talk to him to see if he was chocking or something but he try to speak so we try the water to give it him but he didnt want it so we put him water all over him and nothing but reason we knew he wasnt good was because we saw he like if he was dizzy and he was in his prech and he almost fell off a couple of times can anyone know why or how he died?
