Is it possible to be consistently unlucky?

Is it possible (like in the film "Unbreakable") for a person to be consistently unlucky generally, though cirstances and ill health? Likewise is it possible for the opposite to be true with things always going perfectly for some people (good jobs, family, perfect health etc). are there any "clubs " for these extremes of people to register and tell their stories of good/ill fortune? I have wondered this for years as I am permanently unlucky with everything and constantly injured so there must be an exact opposite of me somewhere!
