Whats the best graphics card for a compaq presario sr1230nx?

well if ya have a standard psu, i know hp,that is a 250watter........really the first thing ya gotta do is get a new psu.......250watts, wont run a good vid card.......most likely if ya did put in a new card it would be totally unstable......underpowered........i have a model that is close to that, i use as a back up, and i cant upgrade it becuz of the psu........your best bet is to call hp tech support and see what type of psu you can put in it......im guessing around a 400watter, then you would be set.......can run any agp card ya want with that..........good luck, scott
