How do you pull off being scene if your 12?

ok I know that if i'll probly bec made fun of my like teenage scene kids but i dont care about them they were probly the same at my age. I'm just wondering, if your like 12 or 13 how do you pull it off? i've always leaned toward that style but i mean theres not a lot of "scene" kids at my age i know about i want ppl to take me seriously even tho i'm young please answer
