My venus fly trap is wilting. what's wrong?

i just got a venus fly trap because I thought it looked cool. it is sitting in the window with plenty of light and water. some of the bigger stalks are wilting, but there are newer small ones budding. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with it or not. anyone have a clue?
